Job Description
Position Summary:
The Engineering Supervisor manages a team responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing processes, including tooling, materials, methods, sources, and special processes. Provides effective and timely engineering support to Operations to achieve daily operational excellence, safety, process control and reliability. Primarily responsible for product procedure and tooling support throughout the process. Directly interfaces and collaborates with our customers.
Essential Functions:
Collaborate with all functional groups within the business to effectively implement projects
Direct process design and initiatives for capability, safety, quality, and cost optimization
Communicate to Senior Management outputs of regular audits and ongoing process improvement initiatives
Ensure optimization and improvement of equipment and processes for long term robustness and reliability
Oversee conceptual analysis of new projects while implementing engineering standards and best practices
Mentors, educates and aligns employees to the principles, practices, and philosophies of continuous improvement
Provides leadership and problem-solving expertise to effectively work with and influence teams of functional representatives
Required Skills:

Experience & Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field.
Five years of working in a manufacturing environment is preferred, with exposure in both Operations and Process Engineering
Strong ability to work with in cross functional teams at all levels
