Description:
The function of the Studio Coordinator is to coordinate support for Design Studios with the Safety, Maintenance, Facilities, Materials Handling and Show Coordination Teams/Departments.
At times it may include coordinating activities within the studios between Program Management, Design, Clay Sculpting, Digital Sculpting and Engineering team members.
Participate in Studio Safety Observation Tours (SOT).
Work with Studio Safety Champion to coordinate necessary work with Facilities, Safety and Studio teams.
Work through the Corrigo system to initiate, track and approve completion of Facilities related action items
Coordinate cleaning of studio floor, hotel seating areas, breakrooms/kitchenets
Coordinate general facility repairs, bulb replacement, plumbing leaks, trash removal and confidential/recycling bins removal
Coordinate cleaning of clay model working areas, (within yellow lines) rails and plates with Clay Handling and Studio Teams
Coordinate equipment and furniture move with Materials Handling and Studio Teams Coordinate with Program Managers to enable seating layout in Studios
Coordinate moving interior and exterior clay properties with Material Handling, Event Coordination and Studio Teams.
Initiates, tracks and coordinates all studio related, on site, local, domestic and international shipments.
Cross train for CSTS shipper initiator, screener and approver roles. (Backfill other studio shipments as needed).
Rules may vary based on GM employee or Contract Functions as Studio Export Team Lead. (Coordinates with studio Program Manager for updates, open issues, and feedback)
Coordinate studio conference room bookings and use of Mega Walls with studio Program Manager
Monitors studio supplies such as copier paper and toner and coordinates supply replenishment maintenance or repair with vendor
Monitors safety related storage of studio art materials, adhesives and cleaners. Coordinates replenishment of studio art materials.
Works closely with Event Coordination Team that desired event location, date and time are available prior to submitting event request forms.
Follow up with Event Coordination to initiate, track and close all event related paperwork and requests
Point of contact between Event Coordination and Studio teams
Coordinate and manage mail delivery between Studio, executive garage Mail Room and Printing & Graphics Center
Required:
3 years minimum related work experience
Minimum high school diploma
