Staff Source has a direct hire Financial Analyst positon open for a customer located in Sterling Heights, MI. Customer is a provider of machining solutions for automotive and commercial applications. Salary $65,000 to $72,000 yearly.
Financial Analyst will support the controller in performing all functions of Finance/Accounting. Serve as a financial advisor to the management team and executive leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities
--Work closely with Controller and other departments to resolve supplier payment issues
--Create weekly payment batches for sign-off by the Controller
--Prepare monthly forecast for current month for review with controller and submit monthly forecast files in HFM (Hyperion Financial Management System)
--Post general ledger journal entries for month-end close
--Prepare quotes, forecasting, budgeting
--Reconcile general ledger accounts and supplier statements
--Manage and oversee capital-spending account
--Pay supplier invoices in a timely manner
--Run various programs/reports to close month out in PLEX
--Analyze and resolve any issues or discrepancies in accounts
--Manage and oversee Capital Spending Account
--Gather. Prepare and analyze data for Auditors as needed
--Train and serve as back up to Controller.
--Comply with all environmental policies, procedures and programs
--Work with plant management and staff to develop annual expense budgets
Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
