The Marketing Associate coordinates and produces proposals, qualifications and presentation materials including information pieces and various other marketing related activities with an emphasis on positioning and strategy. Employs excellent writing and editing skills to produce professional quality collateral materials.

Responsibilities
Participating in professional development activities such as continuing education, seminars, classes, and/or professional organizations
Write original content as well as edit content from other team members for use in proposals, social media, training materials, collateral
Work with creative team, sales team, and other support departments to develop and maintain standard marketing collateral, as well as occasional custom materials including proposals, brochures, promotional items, etc.
Manage marketing materials, assets, and information made available to employees on internal company website
Provide guidance to employees and stakeholders on the appropriate use of marketing tools and systems
Assist with the planning and execution of large-scale company events
Develops responsive, compliant, and compelling proposal responses to solicitations, RFPs, RFIs, RFQs and other assignments within deadlines
Evaluates proposal opportunities in order to lead the process of preparing and submitting successful proposals
Provides full-cycle proposal management from pre-proposal through proposal submittal; coordinates all proposal inputs (section writers, graphics, technical SMEs, pricing, etc.)
Develops and reviews proposal strategies and themes
Develops proposal compliance matrix and fulfills requirements through proposal development efforts
Prepares all proposals documents for delivery and submittal
Develops graphical concepts for proposals
Manages the proposal development and production schedules, keeping the team and management informed of changes as they occur
Qualifications
Preferred four-year degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related degree; or minimum of 7 years of experience and professional training
At least 3 years' of marketing or related experience required. Experience within the AEC industry (Architecture, Engineering or Construction) is preferred.
High Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrate ability to work effectively under high-pressure deadlines and with diverse personalities.
Strong communication and writing skills, including the ability to edit the work of others
Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently while being extremely attentive to detail, and demonstrate clear ownership of projects while partnering closely with other in-house or off-site team members
Must be able to work and deliver results without close supervision, with strong project management skills including setting priorities, planning, organization, and follow-through
Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balance multiple priorities and re-prioritize work as required
Ability and willingness to travel as needed to regional offices, meetings, events and/or project sites
