The Credit Card Champion is a (exempt/non-exempt) role that will be specialized in Services sales, Advocacy, and Visual Presence. The qualified individual must possess a strong passion for success, an abundance of energy and be committed to delivering superior service and performance for our clients. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, goal orientated and a team player excited to learn and grow as a member of the Meijer team. Additionally the candidate must be able to comfortably explain and educate consumers on the benefits of the Meijer Credit Program and deliver incremental quality applications for the program.

What You'll be Doing:
Increases consumer awareness of the benefits/rewards of the Meijer Credit Program
Drives incremental quality applications of consumers to the program.
Expected to consistently attain or exceed monthly quota.
Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks
You create "WOW" moments that have a positive and lasting impact on our customers.
Use good eye contact and body language, displaying a friendly and outgoing attitude.
Be prepared to handle customer questions adequately and appropriately.
Build trustful relationships with customers to encourage return visits.
Ability to stand/walk during your entire shift within any Meijer location.
Willingness to travel to other Meijer locations to assist in obtaining credit cards.
Stay in close contact with leadership for reordering supplies as needed.
What You Bring with You (Qualifications):
18 years of age or older.
Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.
Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.
Strong desire to work with customers, team members, and leadership.
Previous retail or customer experience preferred but not required.
Good verbal communication skills.
Detail oriented and organized.
Friendly outgoing attitude.
Ability to operate cashier register system.
Ability to remain calm when dealing with difficult situations.
