We are excited to announce the expansion of our Vehicle Services department. We are seeking an experienced Automotive Manager to oversee new and existing vehicles programs. Duties include managing staff, managing workloads, and keeping the program timing on track. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in the automotive world and have a desire to help create the newest and most technologically advanced vehicles on the roads today. Candidate should also have a desire for both office and shop work. Must be able to work with hand tools.
Responsibilities
Main contact for the MARTIN team and customer regarding assigned program
Responsible to maximize customer satisfaction with given internal resources
Responsible for tracking requirements and coordination of deliverables for all program phases
Coordinate with expanded internal teams (finance, procurement, logistics, etc.) throughout program
Pass customer requirements to internal departments and coordinate communications with the program team
Support team in all areas of program delivery
Support customer meetings and facilitate change management in product design and development
Ensure team is meeting internal and external requirements, present program status details in internal management and customer reviews
Generate and maintain all necessary documentation and data systems in all areas; ensure traceability and
compliance
Maintenance of progress and issue tracking for the engineering and build teams
Manage test plans and reporting
Master schedule tracking
Participate in planning, creation, and scheduling of team budget and activities
Budget tracking
Procurement requests, order tracking, materials management
P&L tracking
Business d evelopment
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in the automotive industry
Business administrative experience
Mindset focused on quality and customer experience
Strong Excel skills
Strong organizational skills
Demonstrated leadership skills
