What you'll do
The Global Services Real Estate & Facilities Lead is a key position which supports real estate and facilities initiatives by leading large-scale high-visibility projects with the ability to drive projects forward within established budget, timing, and quality expectations.
The Global Services Real Estate & Facilities Lead role is in Southfield, MI, and reports to the Global Services Real Estate & Facilities Director.
Lead and drive large/small scale projects from concept to completion with an organized and proactive approach, including effective collaboration and communication with key stakeholders
Develop, organize, and communicate strategic project plans, meeting/exceeding expectations of multiple constituents (key stakeholders, leaders, manager, decision makers, colleagues, etc.)
Create presentations via PowerPoint to document project updates, clarify processes and next steps, articulate a position/recommendation, and/or communicate key ideas to leadership for input or approval
Develop and manage vendor partner relationships with contractors, architects, furniture vendors, building management, etc.
Serve as point person for collaborations with IT and Office Manager/Admin teams
Support lease transactions, lease administration activities, and critical real estate key metrics as a partner to Director of Real Estate, Asia, and Americas
Maintain and further strengthen internal CRE benchmark data points around lease transactions and fit-out projects
Assist in annual CAPEX/OPEX budget development and presentation, and track department expenses to budget
Support Firmwide initiatives that require a CRE lens (EMS, Hybrid work, Evolution in Workplace, ESG, FM Application, M&A, Etc.)
Support all facilities related day-to-day needs, including overseeing office repair and maintenance issues in partnership with Office Management team
Organize/maintain department related materials, files, and assets
Contribute to real estate strategy/conceptual conversations around workplace evolution and innovation

What you'll need
BA/BS preferred with 5-7 years of experience in architecture, construction, corporate real estate, interior design, or project management
Experience with office fit-out projects, managing vendor partners' and key constituents' needs simultaneously
Leadership skills, with the ability to synthesize information and up-channel as appropriate, and proactively communicate succinctly with intention and purpose
Ability to prioritize multiple workstreams and proactively manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, solve issues creatively, and actively collaborate with others
Critical eye for detail and keen sense for the big picture, contributing to the evolution and innovation of a changing workplace environment at the same time, committed to excellence in execution of deliverables
Excellent customer service commitment, with a "get to yes" attitude
Ability to listen to customer needs and ask constructive questions to drive to win-win solutions, balancing need, value, cost, consistency, Brand, etc.
Demonstrated budget/financial planning acumen including the ability to develop budgets, track internal/external benchmarks, and keep accurate and detailed records
Demonstrated project management skills, including overseeing and managing budgets, project timing, and quality deliverables
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and comfortable with technology platforms and applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and as projects/needs arise
Ability to travel within the US and globally, 10 - 15%.
Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday
