Teacher for FACE (Family and Child Education) Center-Base Early Childhood classroom; early childhood teacher in family literacy program; works closely with parents and adult education teacher, facilitating learning for children of kindergarten readiness skills while parents/guardians are working on their own education goals. This person plays a key role in providing a model for parents in how to teach, motivate and discipline young children and serves as a strong influence on attendance and program retention by providing an environment that makes preschoolers eager to attend. Must be able to pass a background check and pass drug and alcohol testing.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood education or elementary education with Early Childhood Endorsement. Possess and maintain valid MI driver's license (in compliance with HIC insurance carrier) and dependable transportation. Early childhood (ages 3-5) experience and working with adults/families is preferred; knowledge of child development and adult learners.
WAGE: N8 $18.00 - $24.45 or dependent upon qualifications
