The Global Robotic Process Automation (RPA) market is expected to grow at a compound annual rate of 33% from 2021 through 2027 to reach $10.6B by 2027. In support of Xerox transforming from a hardware company to one that is increasingly providing software and services, Xerox has leveraged its best-in-class internal RPA deployment and management experience to launch Xerox Robotic Process Automaton which is expected to be a major growth engine for Xerox. Beyond the direct RPA revenue opportunity itself, Xerox offering managed RPA services will naturally help Xerox retain and growth revenue across virtually all Xerox service lines as RPA enable end-to-end workflow integration and automation. The Director of Automation Sales role will be responsible for driving Automation sales across both the XBS and Enterprise markets.
Essential Functions
Partner with XBS Region Leaders, Enterprise Leaders, and Automation Teams to meet/exceed Automation sales goals (e.g., plan, pipeline, etc.)
Help organizations efficiently automate manual business processes by leveraging Xerox Robotic Process Automation and Intelligent Automation capabilities
In conjunction with region leadership, management teams and sales reps, accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenues
Recommend business development strategies based on market research and competitive analysis
Evaluate success of sales programs; implement changes to ensure goals are achieved
Work with Learning and Development organization to ensure learning/training is relevant and occurring at pace for continuous improvement in critical areas of skill development.
Participate and present on internal and external events, meeting, trainings, and webinars
Understand all facets of marketing programs and ensure communication and understanding by the Sales organizations
Train, coach, and develop sales reps to enable them to sell Xerox RPA services effectively and successfully
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university or equivalent
15 plus years of sales and sales leadership experience including direct work experience in the RPA industry
4 plus years of strong RPA background experience
4 plus years of Channel sales experience
Proven ability to represent the company and Automation offer(s) value proposition at public industry events as well as private client briefings
Experience in a solution-selling environment, where the delivery of business results has been achieved with a combination of services and products
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to motivate sales teams to achieve workplace goals
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Strong relationship-building and account management skills
Previous experience in a Leadership and/or Supervisory role
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
Strong experience with strategic sales that support selling up to the C-Level
