Primary Function
Our Fortune 500's Product Brand Strategy team, part of global Brand Strategy and Identity, is seeking a Sr. Brand Strategist to help us connect our customers and users to our growing portfolio of software and services. You will have the opportunity to not only grow and evolve existing global brands, but also to shape the future of Intel's brand by defining and establishing new brands for emerging products, technologies, and programs, including enterprise SaaS offerings for hypergrowth areas such as AI, security, and performance optimization.

Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
Create, curate, and manage brand strategy for the software and services category, inclusive of monetized software, developer and data scientist tools, high-profile open-source projects, platforms, and programs
Effectively manage senior stakeholders across multiple business, sales, and marketing groups to help ensure business alignment and ratification of long-term brand decisions
Build cross-functional relationships with Intel strategic planners, engineers, developers, product architects, and product marketing to create thoughtful, cohesive brand strategies
Lead development, validation, and communication of long-term brand value propositions for the software and services category, products, and programs
Drive development of brand naming, architecture, nomenclature, and positioning projects
Drive strategic decisions around new product brand creation, product brand extensions, product brand hierarchy, and brand segmentation across client, data center, and networking
Collaborate on the strategy and development of visual identity systems
Educate and influence internal marketing, strategic planning, and business units on the implications of long-term brand strategies and upcoming product roadmaps
Build a strong link between Intel's product brands and the Intel corporate brand
Skills & Qualifications
Passion for and working knowledge of B2B software (from enterprise software as a service products to developer tools and open-source projects)
Tenacity in driving clarity for a new and continuously evolving category
Guides and collaborates with a diverse range of executive-level stakeholders
Clear understanding of the strategic nature of branding and naming
Track record of driving brand-related decision-making to further strategic goals
Drives strategic thinking around new and evolving product brands and categories
Proven skills to influence creative strategy and visual identity systems
Demonstrated experience and success in working in multi-faceted, cross-functional teams
Exceptionally strong communication (verbal, written) and organizational skills
Works equally well in teams and independently
Instilling a culture of continuous improvement, testing, and problem solving
Culture of continuous improvement, testing, and deployment of new capabilities
Experience directing agencies and vendors to deliver results
Education & Experience
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in brand strategy, brand naming, or brand marketing at a branding agency or in-house at a tech company, with at least 3 years in tech
1+ years of experience working on software or developer brand projects
3+ years of experience preparing and presenting to executive-level stakeholders
