Job Description
As a System Engineer II on the Upgrade Center Integrated Technologies team, you will be responsible for providing upgrade services to clients with focus on Oracle's CareAware product suite. These services include the integrated technology deployments of hardware, software, and clinical workflow consulting.?? As a member of the Upgrade Center Integrated Technologies team you will be focused on collaboratively guiding clients with new, add-on, and optimization deployments of integrated devices in various clinical settings. This includes but is not limited to integration of lab analyzers, anesthesia systems, patient monitoring, respiratory ventilators, infusion pumps, and medication dispensing cabinets. You will support clients through regular project events, testing calls, status meetings, and conversion support. You will adhere to implementation/upgrade best practices, troubleshoot device integration, assess risk, and mitigate findings throughout client engagements in partnership with engagement management.??
Duties and Responsibilities: ?
Consult with clients on technical design decisions??
Conduct Technical training with appropriate client resources such as Clinical Informatics, IT, Lab Analysts, and Biomed, remotely???
Adhere to established processes, methodologies, best practices for technical implementations, and documentation?
Advise on deployment strategies such as design impacts?
Engage in client support outside of standard business hours, as needed???
Establish client relationships and maintain a prominent level of client satisfaction?
Cultivate effective client relationships and planning across multiple clients??
Manage multiple work assignments to meet utilization targets?
Effectively develop knowledge of CareAware Device Integration products and services?
Consult with clients and internal teams on the deployment of hardware, software, and services.??
Consult with third party vendors and partners
Complete hardware and software installations for clients??
Support client software functionality??
Perform technical troubleshooting and issue resolution, and escalate as appropriate?
Be an escalation point for non-production issues across our products, and triage issues to Support Management as appropriate?
Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications: ?
At least 4 years of total combined higher education and related work experience, including:?
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field of study, or relevant, equivalent work experience?
Preferred Qualifications: ?
2 years' experience implementing software products in a healthcare/technology environment
Experience with medical devices such as anesthesia carts, physiological monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and/or laboratory analyzers?
Experience working with Cerner Millennium?
At least 1 year of experience working with CareAware iBus?
At least 1 year of experience working with Linux Operating Systems
At least 1 year of experience with SQL, relational databases, or other query-based languages
Experience with?inbound and outbound HL7 messaging
At least 1 year of client-facing experience
At least 1 year of experience with application of basic networking principles (DNS, TCP Connections)
At least 1 year of technical troubleshooting and problem-solving experience?
Experience or interest with medical devices such as anesthesia carts, physiological monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and/or laboratory analyzers?
Strong oral and written communication skills, including an elevated level of comfort interacting with clinical, IT, and biomedical equipment staff up to the mid-manager level??
Experience in mentoring associates or newer members of a team
Ability to adapt to fast paced or changing environments

Hiring Range: from $24.86 to $60.63 per hour; from $51,700 to $126,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
