The Inside Sales/ Client Impact Specialist is responsible for providing excellent customer communications, estimating and quoting orders directly to clients, processing and inputting orders, production planning interface, meeting deadlines and ensuring all quality measures have been verified and confirmed. This position requires in-person, telephone and email communication with clients. The individual in this position plays a critical role in both customer service and customer satisfaction and works closely with other team members. Allegra Marketing Print Mail is not a call center. This position requires face-to-face interaction with both customers and coworkers.
What you’ll do as a Inside Sales/Client Impact Specialist:
- Greet customers, vendors, or visitors.
- Answer incoming phone calls.
- Communicate with clients by telephone, email or in person to provide information about products or services and enter orders, reorders or estimates.
- Answer clients' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and lead times.
- Recommend products or services that will meet clients' needs.
- Attempt to sell additional merchandise or services to prospective or current clients by email or telephone or through visits.
- Solicit sales of new or additional services or products to existing clients.
- Estimate or quote prices, credit terms, and delivery dates.
- Collects accurate and complete information.
- Processes and inputs orders.
- Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers.
- Track the status of purchase orders and sendouts.
- Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet specifications.
- Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
- Determine charges for services requested, collect deposits or payments, or arrange for invoicing.
- Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
- Bag, wrap or box orders and prepare packages for shipment.
- Prepare invoices, delivery tickets and shipping documents.
- Schedule delivery or installation of products.
- Receive payment by cash, check or credit cards.
- Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary.
- Updates client records and purchasing history, maintain records with accurate and updated information.
- Maintains communication logs and other pertinent records.
- Maintain clean and orderly counter and front end, and complete other general cleaning duties, such as mopping floors and emptying trash cans.
- Assist with other projects as needed.
What you’ll need to succeed as an Inside Sales/Client Impact Specialist:
- Good Mathematical skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers and common fractions and percentages. Ability to compute rate, percent and review and understand numbers, estimates, P.O.s, receivables and other data as it pertains to record keeping, collections and the profitability of the company.
- Reasoning Ability – ability to apply common sense understanding to provide written and oral instructions. Ability to review situations with multiple variables, identify facts and solve problems.
- Language skills - Ability to read, communicate and comprehend simple and complex instructions, orders, abstract requests in verbal and written format. Ability to professionally write and verbally communicate, effectively present information one-on-one, to a small group, with customers, coworkers and supervisors.

The employee is regularly required to sit, kneel and/or crouch. The employee must regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Customer Service and/or experience working in the printing and graphics industry with business-to-business customers including handling customer inquiries, preparation of job quotes and order entry.
