MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent driving record.
- Valid chauffeur's license; reimbursed after 60 days of employment.
- Pass a medical examination and maintain good standing under DOT regulations.
- Proven ability to perform duties with awareness of all policies related to the Health Van operations.
- Proven ability of excellent organizational, interpersonal and public relations skills.
- Proven ability to develop positive working relationships with clients and drivers.
- Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule.
- Demonstrated passion for servicing the transportation needs of the community. You must be approachable and personable.
- Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Bedford Public Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two (2) years of experience driving for a service based community program.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the dynamics involving senior citizens.
