Gage Bilt Inc., an OEM Manufacturer of Industrial Riveting Equipment, is looking for a Shop General Laborer to add our team.
Full Time - Hourly
Hours: 8:00-4:30pm
MUST have good driving record.
Primary Responsibilities:
1) Must be capable of learning to operate secondary shop equipment such as Hand tools, Bench Grinders, Tumbler, Surface Grinder, Laser Etcher, Etc.
2) Must be able to use or capable of to use standard measuring equipment
3) Must be willing to learn and work in other department such as shipping receiving, assembly, machining,
etc.
4) Must be able to listen and follow verbal instructions
5) Driver for local delivery, pick-up, and other driving activities as needed
6) Perform Janitorial duties for shop and office
7) Perform basic yard maintenance as needed
8) Must keep work area clean and properly maintained
9) Must work in a safe manner and follow all company safety policies
Secondary Responsibilities:
1) Must have a good attitude and willingness to learn
2) Must work well with other employees and management
3) Offer appropriate suggestions for improvement to management
4) Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned by management
Position Requirements
1) Able to squat and kneel on a regular basis
2) Able to twist and bend the neck and waist on constant basis
3) Able to stand for up to 10 hours per day
4) Able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs. on an occasional basis
5) Able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for job position
Education: High School Graduate or GED

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
