Certified nursing assistants work directly with patients and nurses, helping with the many physical & complex tasks for patient care. Some of their responsibilities include: Turning or moving patients, using a hoyer lift when needed, help with ambulation, providing ADL's, feeding, meal prep, changing briefs, showering, bed bathing, toileting and taking clients to appointments if needed.
