Unit Information
9 Center is a 24 bed Medical Surgical unit located within Butterworth Hospital. This unit is a great place to continue learning due to the variety in the patient population. No two patients are alike, which provides opportunities to utilize and maintain many skills learned in nursing school and keeps 9 Center's employees on their toes. Patients on this unit can be brought in from the ER, ICU, or are direct admits. Patients on this unit usually experience about 2-3 day stays. 9 Center's team is supportive and collaborative with a family feel to it. 9 Center is a great unit for new graduates and experienced RNs alike because it has opportunities for everyone!
Qualifications
Associate's Degree Nursing Required
Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing must be obtained within 5 years for those who start in this RN role on or after January 1, 2017 - SHGR Required
Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program Required
NURSING\Registered Nurse (RN) State of Michigan Upon Hire Required
LIFE SUPPORT\Basic Life Support (BLS) 90 Days Required
