Title: Assembly Technician
Gage Bilt Inc., an OEM Manufacturer of Industrial Riveting Equipment, is looking for a Hand Tool Assembler to add our team.
Primary Responsibilities
· Assemble components in accordance with Data Sheets, Work Instructions, and Manuals
· Test and document components against quality and engineering requirements
· Assist product manager with customer issues, product development, and trouble shooting
· Review changes to manuals as needed for clarity of content
· Evaluate and document returned product for warranty issues
· Evaluate and document product returned for repair
· Notify inventory personnel of low inventory counts
· Notify quality of any assembly issues or concerns
· Assist quality with corrective and preventative action investigations
· Ensure serial number logbooks are properly maintained
· Follow all Gage Bilt safety rules and practices
Secondary Responsibilities
· Make suggestions to improve assembly efficiencies and equipment
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
· Perform other duties as assigned by management
Physical Requirements
· Able to squat and kneel on an occasional basis
· Able to stand or sit for up to 10 hours per day
· Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small
· Able to lift and carry up to 60lbs on an occasional basis
· Able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for job position
Education / Experience
High School Graduate or GED. 2-3 years in an assembly environment
Qualifications required
Strong mechanical ability and familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and equipment manuals

Pay: $20+ based on experience. Overtime paid at time & a half.
$1000 signing bonus @120 days
