What you will be doing:
- Working with the Product Engineering team to create detailed plans and blueprints for models
- Using metalworking and fabrication tools and techniques to produce prototypes per Product Engineering direction
- Assisting in Test Lab functions as needed to ensure prototypes meet design specifications
- Providing technical expertise and support to ensure models meet requirements
- Maintaining accurate records of work activities and results
- Track inventory and supplies needed for building and maintaining models
- Other duties as assigned
What you will bring:
- At least 5 years of experience in product development or related technical field
- Interest in pursuing or working towards Journeyman Tool & Die Maker
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, CAD software knowledge such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, working knowledge of tools and equipment to build models and prototypes such as metalworking equipment, fixtures, jigs, and tooling
