In this position you will:
Coordinate with Engineers to Plan and schedule projects
Estimate the time and materials needed to complete the projects.
Maintain records and documentation relating to the ongoing completion of projects.
Work closely with Engineers to resolve real time issues. 5) Supervise AGV Technician as they work, providing guidance and instruction as needed.
Ensure that work complies with all safety requirements.
Perform hands on support if needed in tasks.
Ability to work well under pressure and to remain flexible to changing schedules and demands.
Ensuring that entire fleet of AGVs are available for use to ensure that production is not interrupted.
Willingness to learn specific skills required to keep maintain AGVs health.
Basic troubleshooting, logging, and reporting of issues relating to the AGV's. Assists in coordinating of routine and non-routine maintenance for the AGV's through maintenance work orders.
Track issues/repairs and utilize escalation process
Preferred experience:
Supplier project management skills .
Knowledge on AMRs (Automated Mobile Robots)
Competency in MTTR/MTBF and the FRED process .
Automotive manufacturing experience.
Problem solving skills using statistics (6 Sigma Black Belt).
Systems Engineering (Electrical and Mechanical) skills.
Required Experience
Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field.
Hands on and working level Experience with Fori, KUKA and similar AGV system.
Extensive AGV/AMR interface with PLCs, Robots and conveyors.
Global Manufacturing Standard (GMS) and Vehicle Operation Structure Standard (VOSS)
Mechanical and Controls experience in mobile applications is required.
Industry standards - NFPA70E, NFPA79, ANSI, SAE HS-1738, UL 508A, w-ZA65.
Ability to lead 8D.
MS Office Application competency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Project Management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with all levels of personnel for the duration of the program.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
