In this position you will:
Lead problem solving, to assist plants and implementation teams, in resolving tooling, equipment, conveyor performance issues and downtime\
Cross commodity tooling consistency through plant install to MP1+90 days
Support tool program timing deliverables through plant install to MP1+90 days
Support tooling controls launch plants
Preferred experience:
Supplier project management skills
CPARS/MEARS
PowerFlex VFD
Servo Drives
RSLogix 5, 500, 5000; RSView and Factory Talk knowledge preferred
Vision systems preferred
Robots (Fanuc)
Competency in MTTR/MTBF and the FRED process preferred
Backgrounds in Controls Design, PLC/HMI and Robot programming preferred
Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
Knowledge of IT systems (AVS, EP, FIS, Networks) preferred
Problem solving skills using statistics (6 Sigma Black Belt preferred)
Systems Engineering (Electrical and Mechanical) skills preferred
FIS reports (running and analyzing) preferred
Required Experience
Rockwell PLC (Control Logix) and other Rockwell components
Ethernet IP for controls
Global Manufacturing Standard (GMS) and Vehicle Operation Structure Standard (VOSS)
Industry standards - NFPA70E, NFPA79, ANSI, SAE HS-1738, UL 508A
Implementation of Error-proofing
Ability to lead 8D
MS Office Application competency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Project Management skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work with all levels of personal for the duration of the program
Strong written and oral communication skills
