Description:
Provides direct clinical psychotherapy to individuals, adolescents, children,
marital and family in a clinical setting using the medical model.
What the LMSW will do:
Demonstrates a commitment to providingoutstanding customer service in a manner reflectiveof the MHP Promise and Trinity Health Mission andValues, as well as the Trinity Standards ofAppearance, Attitude, Respect, Responsiveness,Communication and Courtesy.
Diagnose and treat using clinical psychotherapy withthe medical model, assessing with DSM-5 billingwith the ICD-10 codes
Provides emergency service on a walk in or byphone consult basis.
Collaborates with external agencies when indicatedor necessary:a. Court referralsb. Court testimonies as an expert witnessc. Referrals from community resources outsideof Hart Family Medical Centerd. Mental Health referrals
Provides:a. Dialectical Behavioral therapyb. Trauma treatmentc. Cognitive Behavioral therapyd. Assessment and treatment for ADHDe. Grief therapy, marital therapy and playtherapyf. Adolescent issuesg. Assess and admit for psychiatrichospitalizationh. Behavioral psychotherapy treatment usingthe medical model with PCP's
What the LMSW will need:
Education: Licensed Master Social Worker
Licensure: Requires a minimum of two years' experience in a clinical setting
Certifications: Certification as an LMSW
