Gastroenterology Physician opportunity, hospital-employed in Michigan is growing and seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join its progressive, supportive team.
Join an exciting opportunity with a forward-looking dynamic GI hospital program and a full support staff . • Call is 1:4 and hospital patients are admitted by a 24/7 hospitalist program • Teaching opportunities are also available. • Perform routine GI procedures. •? ERCP is required and EUS is optional.?
DUTIES:
Inpatient rounding/call coverage one-week a month and outpatient procedures/clinic three weeks a month.

Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments. Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization. Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: BS/BA in related discipline or Advanced degree (or equivalent Work experience). Five to eight (5-8) years of successful experience in related field. ITIL and or other industry certification, preferred. PMP, preferred. Experience in a Health Care environment and familiarity with HIPAA, preferred.
