Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager are as follows;
Implement an effective TPM system to drive zero unplanned downtime, including predictive and autonomous maintenance
Implement fast response and single touch repair for downtime
Implement continuous learning for maintenance team
Drive effective staffing and performance management to support operations requirements
Team with area managers to optimize OEE and quality for the facility
Drive the skilled trades apprenticeship program
Share best practices with North American Kautex plants
Drive Manufacturing 4.0 practices for speed and efficiency
Qualifications
Education:
- Four year Bachelor's Degree in Science is required, preferrably in the Engineering or Manufacturing disciplines
Experience:
Five to ten years in a high-volume manufacturing environment (preferrably automotive)
Demonstrated leader of effective maintenance activities for an improved "around the clock" operation
Coaching, mentoring, and team-leading experience is a plus
Detailed knowledge about manufacturing equipment required
General knowledge of legal requirements relative to all spects of operating/maintaining manufacturing equiipment required
MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook), CMMS and Minitab preferred
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of Lean Tools: TPM, 6S, A3, PDCA
