POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Childcare / Wells Center Director and in accordance with the association and policies of the Northern Lights YMCA, the Childcare Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the administrative duties as they relate to childcare, school age and the Wells Center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.Establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with parents, families and children.
2.Have the ability to work independently.
3.Provide office support for phones, equipment, filing, payments, childcare records, supplies, etc.
4.Assist in center tours.
5.Assisting in marketing
6.Lead parent involvement initiative; examples calendar, classroom rosters & newsletter.
7.Provide assistance in programs as needed in classrooms.
8.Assist with new hire onboarding.
9.Assist with licensing requirements; examples include fire / tornado drills, required postings, child / staff ratios, etc.
10.Other Duties as assigned by supervisor
