We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Plumber to join our team. As a Master Plumber, you will be responsible for laying and installing pipes for new construction projects. Your expertise in plumbing systems, codes, and regulations will be essential in ensuring the proper installation and functioning of plumbing infrastructure. This role requires exceptional problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
Responsibilities:
- Plan and lay out plumbing systems for new construction projects, for government, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Install, assemble, and connect pipes, fittings, fixtures, and appliances, ensuring they comply with building codes and project specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans to determine the most efficient and effective plumbing layout.
- Collaborate with construction teams, contractors, and other trade professionals to coordinate plumbing installations with other building systems.
- Conduct site assessments to identify plumbing requirements and determine appropriate materials, tools, and equipment needed for the job.
- Perform pipe cutting, bending, threading, and welding as required to fit plumbing components together.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks, blockages, and malfunctions, and make necessary repairs or adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior plumbers and apprentices as needed.
Requirements:
- Valid Master Plumber license/certification.
- Proven experience as a Master Plumber, preferably in new construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and building plans.
- Strong understanding of pipe materials, fittings, and installation techniques.
- Ability to use plumbing tools and equipment effectively and safely.
