As a Manager of Digital Product Design, you will facilitate the creation and design of digital products and projects across MillerKnoll, leading a team of digital product designers. You will be a key factor in enabling growth in digital experiences for contract and consumer users and clients.

Essential Functions of the Job
Fosters a culture of user-centered design throughout the organization
Leads a team of product designers, removing obstacles and enabling teams to operate in an optimized environment.
Collaborates with Digital Product and Engineering teams to launch, maintain, and sunset digital products
Iterates and responds to ideas for innovation and improvements based on data, research, analysis, or competitive review
Identifies opportunities and trends from the digital marketplace
Works closely with Product Managers, Designers, Developers, Data Analysts, and functional leaders from marketing, sales, and business development
Establishes product design best practices
Contributes to, help establish, and champion our design system
Effectively communicates design decisions to high-level stakeholders
Evaluates the design and UX performance of existing products, leads meetings to surface issues, identify fixes and advance design capabilitiesActs as an internal consultant to multiple business areas: assists in identification of process improvement opportunities, practices and implementation.
Balances short term goals and long term efforts in the allocation of resources and spending.
May travel occasionally in support of business objectives.
What You Bring
Needed skills and experience for this role include:
A Bachelor's degree in Design, User Experience Design, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
8-10 years of experience with digital product design, user experience design, and system thinking
4+ years leading and managing in-house or external teams, preferably within an Agile environment
Ability to drive the prioritization and coordination of design work in a fast-paced environment
Expertise in the execution of user research methods including user interviews, usability studies, survey creation and analysis, and diary studies
Ability to create UX deliverables including user journeys, user flows, competitive analyses, prototypes, etc.
Execution of high-fidelity mockups and the ability to deliver designs to developers for devices or platforms with varying technical needs
Advanced ability to communicate design decisions clearly and concisely
Extensive experience leading creative design teams and agile development teams.
Ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task in an agile environment.
