Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a CMM Operator to join our team!
Responsibilities
Ensure that manufactured and purchased parts conform to engineering specifications and drawings utilizing a Laser Tracker or CMM
Mark up manufactured parts for finish machining operations as required by the manufacturing routing
Implement subassembly personnel with inspection data when adjustments are required to meet final accuracy requirements
Verify that subassemblies meet the accuracy requirements specified by engineering specifications and drawings
Design inspection reports from gathered data and process Defective Work Tickets
Qualifications
1+ year experience operating CMM machine
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills with customers, peers, and subordinates
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with fixtures
Quality experience preferred
Experience in aerospace, automotive, or defense is a plus
Taurus CMM experience
Laser Tracker or White Light Scanning experience is a plus
PC-DMIS, EZ-DMIS, or SPUD software experience is a plus
