Studio C and Celebration Cinema North + IMAX is looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to join our leadership team! In this role, you will be responsible for managing Oscar's, our lobby bar, and overseeing our expanded food & beverage operations within the theatre. The ideal candidate is a positive leader who has a passion for the food & beverage industry, provides excellent service and is committed to our core values of empathy, courage, trust and playfulness.
This position is a full time, salaried position with a minimum requirement of 45 working hours per week including nights, weekends and Holidays. Shifts will vary on a weekly basis between regular office hours to late evening. This position reports to the VP of Food & Beverage and the General Manager of the theatre.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing the daily food and beverage operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
- Forecast, plan and manager all F & B orders, staffing and cost of goods.
- Manages consistency with recipe execution & proper portion control.
- Completes assigned administrative functions including, but limited to Weekly Inventory and approving related accounts payable.
- Utilize management information tools to analyze financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in bar, food and service performance.
- Identify guests’ needs and responds proactively to all of their concerns.
- Work with events and groups sales on creating in house catering menus
- Enforce guidelines and procedures for cash handling by employees
- Work shifts as a Manager-in-Charge of theatre operations
- Display a guest centric attitude by modeling, training and holding team members accountable for delivering Celebrated Service
- Provides coaching and direction to team members to take action and achieve operational goals
- Constantly reviews the Dining & Lobby Experience and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement
- Enforce team members to follow safe work habits and comply with sanitary, safety, security and emergency procedures
- Lead training, evaluating, motivating and coaching all employees
- Ensure cast members adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements
- Other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 - 4 years’ experience in the food & beverage, culinary, or related professional area OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major
- Proven Food & Beverage management experience, minimum of 1 year.
- 21 years of age or older
- TIPS Certified & Serv Safe Food and Allergen Certification preferred
- Excellent leadership + verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office, POS, Outlook)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
- Ability to successfully manage a team and meet financial targets
- Guest oriented and service minded
- Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
