PHINIA: Combustion-Technology Leader
BorgWarner's Fuel Systems and Aftermarket business PHINIA is intended to separate from BorgWarner in late 2023
PHINIA will be a product leader in fuel systems and aftermarket distribution with balanced and synergistic exposure among Commercial Vehicle (CV), Light Vehicle (LV) and Aftermarket end markets, with embedded relationships with global OEMs and a focus on the global vehicle parc.
As well as being an industry leader in combustion technologies and chassis systems PHINIA will also be driving the transition to green fuels and hydrogen combustion by developing effective solutions to decarbonize the future of transportation.

Job purpose
The IT Director for OE America's and ERP is responsible for the effective oversight, and execution of PHINIA's regional IT strategy and global strategy for the ERP and services. In this role, you will work with senior business leadership to ensure alignment between business and IT strategy.
The position has responsibility for leading both the Americas regional team and the global IT organization for ERP operations and support. You will be a member of the Global IT Leadership Team and will be a direct report to the Global CIO.
Key responsibilities
Ensure alignment between the business strategy and IT for Americas region.
Lead BRM team supporting the Company's OE Business Unit.
Maintain close alignment with the site Service Delivery Managers
Work with the business leads to develop 5-year application roadmap. Manage the roadmap as a living document to keep alignment between IT and the business
Lead the teams that support the SAP implementations & ongoing support. Have responsibility for the development of the long-term SAP strategy. This activity specifically includes the leadership of the SAP Core Team, and developing the SAP strategy for the organization (including business value of migrating to SAP, S/4 migration, etc.)
Provide leadership in identifying and developing high-value business opportunities where SAP and data can be used to help NewCo gain insights, growth, and efficiency
Evaluate the optimal ways to provide support for SAP globally that work for both the business functions and IT.
Capitalize on identified synergies and work to identify new ones, to help meet or exceed the targets identified.
Continually stay on top of, evaluate, and assess the leading data technology platforms and processes to determine how to create the most flexible and lowest overhead environments and program execution.
Optimize and manage resources, software, hardware, and service provider support to optimize spend, license usage, and value achieved for per dollar spent.
Manage project appropriation requests, timelines, expenditures and resource plans for recommended projects.
Management global IT organization, including staff development and succession planning
Making innovative and effective system and technology investment decisions, ensuring infrastructure projects are directly aligned with organizational goals
Establish and manage the global and regional IT budgets for respective areas of responsibility
Executive level communication and presentation
What we're looking for
Bachelor or master's degree in information technology or similar
7 years+ extensive SAP manufacturing/automotive experience
Strong understanding of all IT disciplines and interdependencies
Strong leadership skills with intercultural teams
Ability to prioritize multiple projects, work under tight deadlines, and handle changing priorities.
Strong IT strategy and architectural experience
Ability to understand and implement new technologies and solutions in large organizations
Extensive experience in the field of IT service organizations (ITIL) and project delivery frameworks
Knowledge and experience with IT controls and governance.
People Skills - in hiring, training, developing, and retaining IT teams
Strong computer and data analytical skills.
