Superior Block Company, a complete masonry supplier for concrete, architectural, retaining wall and paver blocks, fireplaces, manufactured stone and building materials, seeks a Forklift Operator to join their team in Houghton, Michigan. Previous experience preferred, however, we will train someone that is reliable and motivated to learn.

- $17 – $20 per hour starting pay based on your experience.

SCHEDULE. This is a full-time, seasonal position (May/June–October/November) working Monday–Friday; occasional Saturday’s if needed, and opportunity for overtime.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Possess a valid driver’s license required; Class A CDL a bonus.
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or production facility preferred.
- Ability to work Monday-Friday and occasional Saturday’s, if needed.
- Follow good housekeeping procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Willing to work in a respectful, team-oriented environment.
- Flexible and willing to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Able to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, able to climb stairs, withstand repetitive movement and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Are reliable and have an excellent work ethic.
