Solutions Architect (Library experience)
What will I be doing?As a Solutions Architect, you will partner with internal and external stakeholders to provide technical solutions for Ex Libris customers.
In this position, you will also...• Attends meetings with potential clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensures that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution.• Provides consultation to Account Managers and prospective customers, via telephone, email or webinar.• Provides effective product and technology demonstrations to audiences of varied technical knowledge.• Provides technical solutions in a professional manner and ensures solutions fit within the customers' requirements.• Develops account plans in collaboration with the Account Manager/Director.• Interfaces with the Professional Services team, articulating customer requirements, to ensure a smooth transition from Sale to Delivery.• Attends customer user group meetings, sales meetings, and occasional industry conferences.• Assists with RFP responses.Reasons you should apply...1. Qualified Candidates must have...• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.• Minimum 3 years experience working with a library integrated system or a library service platform.• Presentation experience, with a strong skill set in planning and leading online and in-person presentations.• Knowledge of current and evolving library practices and trends.• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to professionally interact with a diverse blend of personalities to reach resolution and maintain strong relationships.• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Superstar Candidates will ALSO have...• Masters' degree in Library Information Science.• Experience working with Alma.
