Job Description
Regional Acquisition & Sales lead for selling SW as a product/service and establishing recurring revenue business in North America:
Prepare and conduct value based customer negotiations, from pre-selling to deal-closing --> stand in for SW & Services (on eye level externally with OEM stakeholders/decision makers/negotiators and on eye level internally with GCT/strong acquisition manager/BU-PRM/engineering)
Consultative selling of complex solutions
Develop innovative solutions for pricing, selling and negotiating SW & Services, convince customers by creative solution selling
Coach and consult acquisition managers
Support setup of terms & conditions
Lead frame contract negotiations with regard to SW & Services
Be perceived as internal expert for SW & Services and as sales "go to person" in the region
Global responsibility cross customer teams and cross BUs
Qualifications
Sales or purchasing experience (negotiation, acquisition, pricing, business modelling)
Extensive customer focus to accurately understand customers' challenges, build commitment throughout the buying process and position products and services in a compelling way
Ideally experienced with SW and services (commercial and/or technical)
Strong communication skills and presentation skills to convince internally and externally
High flexibility in time and content as customer and product environment are volatile
Ability to deal with various topics simultaneously
Target oriented, hands-on mentality, and structured working
Quickly builds up network, easily find access to various teams, is a go-to-person
Self-confident/assertive, entrepeneurial-minded, customer oriented, social competence a must
