WAGE: $16.00 / HOUR
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor table game activity and slot machine usage.
- Observe cash transactions in count rooms and cage areas.
- Maintain appropriate logs and documentation.
- Maintain equipment failure reports and ensure Surveillance Technicians are notified of any problems with equipment.
- Monitor all areas of casino, parking lots and adjacent areas.
- Assist in investigating violations and conflict resolution.
- Communicate with all other departments in facility via radio and/or phone.
- Complete reports on any illegal activity or violations.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Minimum 1-year continuous employment in a casino environment in the past 2 years. Must have overall combined 2 years casino experience.
Knowledge: Prior knowledge in Surveillance or related field. Knowledge of gaming rules and policies along with knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures and operating knowledge of camera equipment and computer system.
Skills and Abilities: Ability to and/or train to identify cheating methods and other related activities. Must be flexible with days and hours available for work. Must maintain strict confidentiality.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:
Basic computer/keyboarding for data entry, basic operation of CCTV and network PC operations, telephone, radios and fax machine.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
During a 1O hour shift, this employee will have the following physical demands placed upon them:
- Stand/walk for up to 1¾ hours of a 10-hour shift.
- Sit for up to 8 ¼ hours of a 10-hour shift.
- Must be able to use both right/left hands for repetitive motion for up to 8 ¼ hours of a 10-hour shift.
- Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, reach, twist and rotate as needed during a 10-hour shift.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to work in an area approximately 30′ x 30′ with 4 other employees present. Must be able to handle constant interruptions, excessive noise, and must be able to make quick decisions and sound judgment calls.
