Responsibilities and Duties
Collaborate with the team to exemplify Reggio-Inspired philosophy and practices. Implement the Reggio Emilia approach in daily teaching, beginning with the view of children as competent, curious, and full of potential.
Assist toddlers and infants with all of their needs.
Develop observation & documentation strategies, reflect on children’s learning in the infant/toddler classroom.
Create and maintain a safe and clean classroom that also supports the Reggio Emilia notion of the environment as the third teacher.
Value the role of families as an active part of children’s learning experiences.
Communicate with families via our school App, including at the end of the day or at scheduled family meetings.
Serve as a resource for families regarding parenting and developmental challenges, such as potty training, sleep, or concerns about developmental milestones or delays.
Plan and participate in professional development trainings as appropriate.
Qualifications and Skills
Preferable candidate has 1-2 years of childhood education and/or experience.
Should have all of the Required Lara Trainings or be willing to take them during the first month.
