This position is located in the Plant 5, Ti-Cast Operation and will support both Ti-Cast and HIP Operations. This Quality Engineer position will resolve manufacturing & shipment issues relative to customer specifications. Support the administration of quality manuals, continuous improvement initiatives & interaction with business center personnel on quality initiatives. Root cause analysis & corrective/preventative action determined as appropriate.
This position will be responsible for:
Support two Quality Management Systems
Conduct annual internal audits per AS9100 requirements.
Lead external audits.
Customer audits internal/external
Review and implement quality system changes.
CAB meeting administrator
Support supplier partnerships
Drive root cause on CARs to reduce PPM
On-site visits for audits and problem solving
Supplier scorecards for OTD and PPM
Manage non-conforming material for closure.
Customer communication for cert/problem resolution.
BS Degree in Business or Engineering from an accredited institution.
Experience working in an internship or co-op capacity in a manufacturing or lab environment (JB 20)

This position is subject to the Internal Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
Quality System audit experience.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-starter and ability to manage multiple projects.
Demonstrates competent use of automated order system.
Solid base knowledge of manufacturing process and flow of material.
Strong quantitative analysis skills, including the use of Microsoft Excel.
Ability to develop and use planning strategies
