Job Summary:
We are hiring new employee or more than 1 years experienced level Vision System Engineer to work at our state of the art Lithium-Ion battery plant in beautiful Holland, MI.
Responsibilities:
The engineer will work with Vision System (Computer Basis) management and analysis to:
- Manage, Analyze and Improve on Vision Systems that are computer or vision controller based technologies.
- Create, monitor, and modify overall system, simulation and testing, start-up, and troubleshooting
- Understand Automation Interfacing Technologies between main and sub devices and current trend of inspection :
- Communication Protocol
- Image processing algorithm (Pre-processing, Binary recognition, etc)
- Deep learning (AI)
- Case analysis and process flow analysis
- Automation
- Troubleshoot
- Analyze vision data about leakage and overkill rate and figure out solution
- Electrode vision system BM/PD management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or other engineering field required
- Experience working in a manufacturing or automotive engineering environment
- Understanding general systematic program flow and able to improve or modify programs
- Exposure to controls and electrical systems design, automation, mechanical assemblies, and manufacturing assembly equipment from an internship, co-op, entry level job role, or similar
- Exposure or education in Battery systems or processes a plus but not required
Skills
- Programming or Exposure in C, C++, C#, is a plus but not required
- Proactive, resourceful & highly motivated with good communication skills
- Korean Bilingual preferred
