SUMMARY
The candidate will be responsible for performing all typical Hilo duties including keeping machine cells stocked with parts and loading and unloading trailers. This position will be a good fit for someone who is driven and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
SHIFT AVAILABILITY:
1st Weekdays- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (every other Thursday) 5a-530p
1st Weekend- Friday, Saturday, Sunday (every other Thursday) 5a-530p
2nd Weekdays- Monday-Thursday 530p-5a
2nd Weekends- Friday-Sunday 530p-5a
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Keeping the line stocked with raw product and removing finished product.
-Communicating with the supervisor and machine operators.
-Flexibility to help where needed when there is down-time.
-Moving product within the system to ensure inventory accuracy.
-Performing SOS and EOD tasks such as emptying chip pans, picking up scrap and filling the coolant.
-Always operate Hilo in a safe manner, following all rules, regulations and procedures.
-It is the Hilo operator's responsibility to prevent and avoid accidents.
-Verify counts and/or weights of materials being shipped or received.
-Load and unload trucks as directed.
-Label materials received with barcoding labels and put away in proper warehouse locations.
-Rotate raw material stock to use oldest material first, First In, First Out (FIFO).
-Prepare materials for shipment by shrink-wrapping and/or banding boxes.
-Maintain a clean Hilo.
-Make sure Warehouse remains clean and organized.
-Perform all other assigned duties as required by a supervisor.
*The Weekday’s position will be busier due to incoming and outgoing shipments throughout the day.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Pass test and maintain a current Hilo operator's license
Previous Hilo operating experience
Knowledge of shipping, receiving, warehousing, and packaging requirements
Good attendance
Strong teamwork and time management skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Driven and efficient
