We manufacture Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) for the global electronics market. Our PCBA are used in many applications, including medical devices, automotive and industrial.
We currently have an opening for a Senior Electrical Engineer in the Eng. Department of our Otsego, MI location. This is an on-site position.
Job Summary:
The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, building, validating and documenting custom test equipment for the electronics manufacturing industry and working on customer design projects.
Responsibilities to include:
• Creating design development plans
• Selection of project hardware components
• Hardware design development
o Using off the shelf components as well as custom PCBA
• Software design development & debug
o Including embedded micro & PC (C, C#, LabView, Python)
• Building & testing design projects
Preferred qualifications and Character Traits (what we are looking for):
• 5+ years’ experience
• Highly organized
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Development of design specifications experience
• Electronic circuit design and simulation experience
• Software development experience- embedded controller and/or PC level
• PCB layout/design experience, using Altium would be a plus
• Technical writing experience
• Medical industry experience would be a plus
Requirements:
• BSEE or a combination of formal training (College and/or Military) and experience designing electronic circuits or test equipment
• Experience with one or more PCB CAD layout packages
• Experience writing software in C, C#, LabVIEW, and Python
• Authorization to work in the US
