Proagrica is looking for an Agile Business Analyst III to join its CDMS product development team. You will perform business analysis, take ownership of the backlogs, and manage stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable taking ownership of situations within their assigned squads.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Authoring User Stories all the way to the "Analysis Complete" definition with the help of Technical and QA functions.
Work closely with stakeholders to cultivate and maintain the agile backlog.
Help lead the development squads by acting as Scrum Master, working closely with Delivery Managers and other stakeholders to ensure the team is focusing on the right things and clearing blockers.
Develop "trusted advisor" relationships with senior stakeholders through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects.
Contribute to the development of new tools, processes, and solutions to meet desired product needs.
Perform analysis on existing systems, identifying options for potential solutions and assessing for both technical and business suitability.
Work between remote development teams, internal IT, and business to ensure requirements are being met.
All other duties as assigned.
Key Skills Required:
Strong requirements elicitation skills - including the facilitation of client workshops.
Strong understanding of Web APIs and Services.
Experienced in authoring and maintaining Agile Backlogs - from Epics/Themes to individual User Stories and their acceptance criteria.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile environment, ideally Scrum.
Strong result orientation, personal drive, and pro-activeness.
Ability to influence and lead without formal authority.
Diligent attention to detail and technical intuition
Key Skills Desirable:
Any background in Agriculture or Ag Tech is highly desirable.
Understanding of the Geospatial Technologies
Scrum Master experience.
Hands-on experience with data analysis and related programming languages such as SQL, Python, etc.
Skilled in Unified Modelling Language
