Speech Language Pathologist/Therapist - Per Diem

As a per-diem, non exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Speech Language Pathologist, you are responsible for the administration and direct application of Speech-Language pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician. Duties include evaluating, planning, directing, and treating all patients referred to Speech-Language Pathology. In this role, you will assist patients in obtaining maximum performance and function in society while learning to live a routine "normal" life within the constraints of their disability.
Schedule: This position will work up to 19 hours per week and a minimum of 4 hours per month providing coverage "as needed." This position does not have regularly scheduled hours
About the Facilities: West Branch Ambulatory Care Center focuses on orthopedics, neurosurgery, and medical specialty services for adult and pediatric patients. Outpatients are helped to heal and improve their quality of life through a treatment plan of physical therapy, occupational therapy and/or speech and language pathology. The Care Center serves those in the counties of Ogemaw, Oscoda, Roscommon, Arenac and Iosco. CPS Solutions. LLC has partnered with West Branch Ambulatory Care Center to manage the day-to-day operations of this facility. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Rehab Departments: The rehab departments' operating hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited college in Speech-Language Pathology
Current Michigan Speech Language Pathologist license in good standing.
Current BCLS certification
Preference will be given to those with Specialty Certifications
1+ year of experience in outpatient settings is preferred
Hospital Requirements: (may be required)
(PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
(MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
Hep B3 Series (or declination)
(Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
