This National Guard position is for a TITLE 32 FUEL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM WORKER (MI Camp Grayling), Position Description Number D2711000 and is part of the MI Camp Grayling, National Guard. Responsibilities This is a Title 32 National Guard Excepted Service Position Description that requires Military Membership The primary purpose of this position is to oversee and perform operations for receiving, storing, transferring, issuing, and accounting for bulk petroleum products needed to support all training exercises/missions and the daily requirements of the Garrison Training Center (GTC). The purpose is also to provide direction to lower-level employees on how to build and operate tank farms and service stations. The organizational location of this position is within Joint Forces Headquarters, Army National Guard (ARNG) Garrison Training Center. 1. Receives, stores, transfers, and distributes bulk petroleum products and provides oversight to lower-graded employees. 2. Accounts for all fuels that are received, stored, and distributed. Performs daily, weekly, and monthly inventory of fuels. 3. Draws fuel samples for testing. Submits packaged lubricant samples for laboratory analysis on a regular basis. 4. Military Grades: E3 - E6 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which demonstrates the ability to follow instructions and to safely operate the type of equipment required to accomplish the duties of the position. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience or training operating, maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting and overhauling fuel systems and components. Experience or training initiating and controlling the movement and storage of fuel supplies by operating high pressure systems with a series of terminals connected by cross-country pipelines or multi-fuel storage and distribution facilities connected by a network of internal pipelines.
