This ORDER PROCESSING SPECIALIST position has key responsibiities to include:
Processing customer purchase orders for all EBS Howmet operations.
Assists facilities with purchase order and related document questions and monitor issues delaying order entry to ensure purchase orders are entered and booked in a timely manner.
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Minimum three years' work experience in an office/administrative environment.
Successfully meet the standardized Pre-Visor testing requirements. If applicant has worked as a technician at Howmet in the past 10 years or possesses a minimum of an associate degree, testing is not required.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Experience with administrative functions in a manufacturing setting.
Data entry with 35 WPM
Experience in EBS or other Order Management system.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Effective Microsoft Excel and office skills.
Ability to achieve and maintain a high level of accuracy.
Ability to read and interpret purchase orders and related documents.
