Are you a licensed physical therapist looking for a flexible work schedule and the opportunity to maximize your pay? If so, we are assisting our client to find a compassionate and caring physical therapist for a 13-week travel assignment. This job is working five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7a - 3:30 or 8a - 4:30 at an outpatient clinic located about 30 minutes from Gaylord. Enjoy access to many springtime outdoor activities in northern Michigan. Our client has a private evaluation room and treatment equipment is new to newer averaging 2-5 years old. Providers will treat a variety of patient ages primarily adults (high rate of adult retirees in town) and some adolescent athletes from the neighboring high schools. Treatment diagnoses include but are not limited to post-op orthopedic, neurologic conditions as well as industrial-type injuries.
Compensation and Benefits of the PT
Pay: $54 - $59 per hour Based on experience, benefit level and traveler status.*

Responsibilities of the Outpatient Physical Therapist
Provide quality Outpatient Physical Therapy services.
Assist your patients in meeting functional, measurable goals that promote restoration of functional abilities.
Advise and consult with the family and/or other caregivers as indicated to promote the client's level of progress toward mutually agreed upon goals and plan for discharge.
Participate in educating the client and the family or other caregivers to promote the client's progress toward mutually agreed-upon goals.
Requirements of the Outpatient Physical Therapist
Outpatient experience preferred
Valid Michigan PT License
Degree from PT Accredited College
Ability to work effectively with clients and to work cooperatively with others
Ability to work independently
Provide a quality customer service focus and an enthusiastic attitude
