Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Product Marketing Managerto join our team in Holland, MI.
As aProduct Marketing Manager, you will:
Sets strategy for the development, execution, and deployment of Haworth's product marketing strategies for face-to-market positioning, related programs, and communications. Supports, develops, and manages commercialization of products across all functional areas of Marketing, including those with and without direct organizational authority (i.e., marketing, communications, public relations, social media, trade shows, events, displays, advertising, training, field and dealer communications, and programs), as needed by corporate and field sales members, dealers, specifiers, and end-user customers. Leads Product Marketing Communications strategies and team; may lead other cross-functional marketing teams. Manages budget, vendors, and projects by creating strong processes and templates, ensuring consistency and quality of work. Mentors and teaches all members of team.
Do you have these required qualifications?
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing or equivalent.
Ten years demonstrated successful corporate marketing staff experience, with broad knowledge of marketing, sales, product or program planning, project management, finance, engineering, graphic design, and technology-based tools, including five years demonstrated successful sales or marketing staff experience within furniture industry and two years demonstrated successful corporate management experience.
Do you have these preferred qualifications?
Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
Experience supervising, leading, and developing work of others in highly creative roles strongly preferred.
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
Excellent communication, including written, verbal and presentation skills.
Ability to successfully lead and manage multiple complex projects using effective project management and multi-tasking skills.
Must be collaborative/decisive decision maker.
Strong strategic and analytical thinking and financial and business planning skills.
Ability to coach, mentor, and develop people; build teams; deliver results; and facilitate change.
Ability to develop and encourage members' growth through setting and measuring goals and performance and reward and recognize members who display positive behaviors, obtain results, and meet commitments through personal accountability, using appropriate skills and knowledge.
PC and keyboard/mouse skills required; working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
Travels overnight away from corporate offices, including internationally, up to 25 percent of time.
