About the Role
As a Senior Director, Artificial Intelligence, you will be a key player in shaping and implementing our AI strategy. From leading the Automotive AI Lab, you will create AI/ML solutions for personalized sound, mixed reality, comfort, analytics, and security products. With your team, you will run the company's MLOps system. You will closely collaborate with our product lines, customers, and academia on AI/ML-based product innovation and work with our product management on new business opportunities. As an AI/ML evangelist, you will promote awareness and adoption of the technology and support our AI talent programs.
What You Will Do
Lead, manage, and grow a multi-disciplinary set of machine learning teams
Deliver production-grade AI/ML solutions into our product lines using industry benchmark best practices
Foster AI/ML-based value-add across our product portfolio as a key technical advisor and ambassador
Drive cross-functional AI/ML-based innovation in close collaboration with product lines and strategic functions
Implement a purpose-driven culture of respect, collaboration, inclusion, and empowerment
What You Need
Bachelor's Degree in Machine Learning, Electrical, Computer, or related discipline.
12 years of technical industry experience including 5 years of applied AI/ML in product development
5 years of experience leading and growing high-performing engineering teams and managing managers
Demonstrated experience in applied AI/ML in two of the following areas Computer Vision/Perception, Audio Processing, Mixed Reality, Data Analytics, Affective Computing, Cybersecurity
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in machine learning is highly preferred
Practical experience in automotive software engineering and AI/ML application
Relevant experience in implementing and running production-level MLOps infrastructure
Project and product management experience
