Day-to-Day Role:
Facilitate focus group/workshop sessions to document new business processes and/or revise current processes.
Defines and documents business functions, processes, and associated templates.
Consults with functional areas and personnel to identify business process objectives, current operational procedures, problems, including inputs/outputs.
Analyzes and models business domains to create a complete picture of work functions, roles and responsibilities, and connectivity between processes.
Conducts business process mapping (blueprinting) and writes detailed procedures for permanent record and training, including templates needed to complete the process.
Conducts impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes to business processes, functions, and requirements.
Create process flows, supporting policy/procedures, and supplementary job aids/how-to-guides.
Collaborate with employees to drive the development and deployment of businesses processes or modifications thereof that improve speed and efficiency within the organization.
Review interconnectivity between existing business processes and update as needed for common language and proper references.
Core Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be working towards the following:
Bachelor's or Master's degree with an emphasis in engineering, business or related field of study
Strong computing skills including Microsoft Office applications.
Requires excellent communication, presentation, facilitation and listening skills.
Prefer training in LEAN and/or Six Sigma.
'Big picture' thinking; the ability to see how parts interact.
Experience and comfort dealing with all levels of an organization.
Write logical, comprehensive, and concise reports and correspondences.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to persuade and influence decision making of individuals, groups, or work teams, and to explain difficult issues.
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license
Requires a favorable motor vehicle report upon hire
