SEMCO Energy - Manager Regional Operations (Holland)
The Manager of Regional Operations, under minimal supervision, plans and manages the activities of all field and pipeline facilities within a defined geographic area.
Plan and implement regional operating policies and programs in support of corporate and regional goals and benchmarked standards.
Ensure the communication/dissemination of the business strategy through the operating region.
Negotiate, interpret and manage collective bargaining agreements. Promote a strong working relationship among all employees.
Train, monitor, motivate, coach, develop, and evaluate unit employees.
Promote and represent SEMCO within the community.
Achieve financial objectives by sound management of financial resources through budget preparation, monitoring of fees and costs, and analysis and/or justification for the use of financial resources.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.
Provides oversight and direction of meter shop activities. Will participate and support the measurement committee, including recommendations for company initiatives.
Make regular reports to the Director of Operations.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent.
Minimum of five to seven years of gas industry field operations experience. Supervisory experience preferred.
Project management experience/training is preferred.
In addition to our standard benefits package, the estimated base salary for this role will range from $107,000 - $125,000, depending on experience.
