This position will be located in our Research and Development Operation. This is a first shift position with a schedule of working four, 10-hour days (Friday through Monday). Key responsibilities will include:,
Prepare samples of metallographic specimens.
Examine the prepared mounts for Customer Monthly Audits, Customer Process Approvals, and Anomaly Characterization.
Write reports of metallographic characterization.
Basic Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Minimum of two years of consistent post high school work experience.
Successfully meet the standardized Pre-Visor testing requirements. If applicant has worked as a technician at Howmet in the past 10 years or possesses a minimum of an associate degree, testing is not required.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position is subject to the Internal Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
