Warbler’s Way Association is looking for a Caretaker.
The Caretaker takes care of the community buildings and grounds. Their duties include cleaning, performing simple repairs, and maintenance tasks. Must be trustworthy and professional in all situations.
- Uphold high customer service standards with Warblers Members and Board of Directors
- Prepares Caretaker’s report for Board of Directors meetings
- Maintaining grounds, buildings, and fire pits to provide a clean and safe environment
- Cleaning buildings by sanitizing washrooms daily. Cleaning floors, furniture, and walls, as needed.
- Opening and closing pool for the season and daily routine.
- Lawn maintenance and improvements - Mowing, trimming, weed control, and snow removal
- Picking up trash and debris from association common areas and campground and hauling to dump
- Informing supervisor of any matters pertaining to assigned responsibilities or emergency situations
- Performing basic repairs and maintenance tasks as required
- Monitoring cleaning materials for reordering
- Managing bookings for campsites
- Performs duties independently and consistently exercises discretion and excellent judgment in performing work which is predominantly physical and varied in nature.
- The primary responsibilities for this position will be performed approximately 90% of the time outdoors and approximately 10% of the time indoors
- Participates in additional duties in the general nature as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Small Engine Repair
- Basic Plumbing
- Experience in customer service
- Experience working with multiple types of equipment
- Pool Maintenance Knowledge (Preferred)
- Thrive in a changing environment while maintaining focus.
- Ability to work independently setting own priorities and objectives.
Education Level/Certification
Driver’s License, Chauffer License preferred.
