Job Description
Our company is always striving to provide outstanding customer service. You will be assisting customers with their parts, sales and service needs. Expect detailed hands on training to achieve mastery of processes regarding our products and services procedures. There is a family feel at Hellebuyck’s that extends to the customer as we strive to give them the highest quality service possible.
Here are some examples of the actual work your day would include.
- Monitor sales floor, for equipment needing to be restock if sold or transferred out.
- Keep sales floor in a welcoming order, easy to sell from and pleasant for customers to view.
- Stay current with promotions and financing deals.
- Customer service, assisting customers to resolve any issues or problems, answer general questions they are have.
- Working the sales floor providing customers with product information and demonstrating how to properly use the equipment.
- Go out on DEMO’s with reps for sales.
- Assist in part identification and order placement for service and sales orders via phone and in person.
- Receiving and checking in daily parts for customer orders and stock replenishment.
- Transferring of parts between the company locations.
- Working the sales floor providing customers with product information and demonstrating how to properly use the equipment.
- Sharing product knowledge with customers regarding needs, purchases, maintenance and repair.
Don't know about engines and equipment? That's ok! You'll be trained to be proficient in your job. We use an interactive combination of hands-on and online training to ensure everyone has a full understanding of Hellebuyck’s proactive approach to outdoor power equipment and management of that equipment.
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you need to have a certain amount of knowledge and skills:
- High School degree preferred
- One year of face-to-face sales or customer service experience preferred
- Small engine background is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with a computer.
- Hands-on mind set with ability to work in an office environment
